MTN Wants $5.2bn Fine Slashed by 80%

MTN Group Ltd in South Africa is making some moves to get the $5.2 billion fine imposed by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) reduced by as much as 80 per cent and it is considering borrowing money from banks to help settle the penalty, should its request for fine reduction sail through.

Jeffrey Akoh wins MTN Project Fame West Africa, Season 8!

Jeffrey Akoh, popularly called Jeff in the Season 8 of MTN Project Fame West Africa, has emerged the winner of this year's show.

He took a lot by surprise, with the likes of Ada, Deinde and others still in the game.

Pearl Olanma Awa-Agwu came in at the 2nd position with a cash prize of N3 million and a car.

Anderson Emmanuel Amos (the favoured) finished in 3rd place, he gets a car and N1 million.

I added the favoured in front of Anderson's name because he was the only contestant actually evicted from the show, and then called to return to the show. It can only be the favour of God upon his life.

Adanoritsewo “Ada” Gold Tosanwumi came 4^th with a N1 million prize tag.

MTN Project Fame's 2nd Runner-Up Adetoun Adekoya Glows In New Photos

The Ogun State-born second runner-up at the 5th edition of MTN Project Fame; Adetoun Adekoya is out with new photos.

In a recent interview, she says she is hale and hearty after her involvement in an auto crash, while speaking on her career and fashion preference.

She says:

"God has been so good to me. I put in a lot of efforts during rehearsal and hardwork to set a brand and carve a niche for myself in the industry. I can only do my best and leave the rest to God for perfection....I thank God for giving me a good voice which conveys sweet melodies to people’s hearing...I’ve got no tattoo on my body... (giggles). I cannot be caught dead wearing it. " she says.

Listen Up! New Star On the Block; MTN Project Fame' Gbemisola 'Duzzi' Drops Hot Single ... 'I Don Port'

Gbemisola aka Duzzi of MTN Project Fame 6.0 is a 20 year old outgoing girl, and University of Lagos undergraduate who started doing music 10 years ago, but actually went professional 5 years ago. This Young Writer/Recording Artist is  inspired by her nickname "Duzzi" which means excellence and she's determined to excel at what she does best. 

Duzzi who has been a music lover right from childhood was previously based in South Africa before moving to Nigeria where she lives in Lagos with her family, and works as a model. 

She is the last child among five(5) siblings and surely knows how to be on top of her groove as she wants to be known by her powerful vocal delivery, fashion sense and statement hairstyles. Gbemi is here to stay and has decided to give her best even as she aims for the top... She says "I don't stop when I'm tired, I stop when I'm done".

'I Don Port' by Duzzi is a dancehall tune which will keep you on your feet rocking for a long long time. Duzzi went all in and makes this song as cool as any other from notable singers in the industry... it's difficult to tell she's a newbie!
