J.Martins Blasts Wizkid Over 'Broke Fan' Comment

J.martins in a recent interview on Hot Fm 98.3 Abuja reacted to Wizkid’s outburst after he (Wizkid) was told by a fan he needed to go back to school for his poor use of tenses. Wizkid had lashed back calling the writer a ‘broke fan’.
See the controversial wizkid tweet below;

J Martins on the show said ‘I’m not taking any side, don’t mean no beef, no disrespect, and no hate but let the truth be told. I don’t believe because you feel you have a few change you didn’t have a few years ago and which you cannot guarantee having in a few years to come then you wake up and look at those people who have cheered you up, loved you, supported your music, bought your CD’s, prayed for you, just because you can lay your hands on some phone and you call them ‘poor’. Am not in and will never be in support of anyone who has such bad attitude.
“It needs to be corrected, we owe our fans the duty of being good examples that’s why they hold us in high esteem, that’s why you are a role model and if you know you cannot be a good role model you have no business in Music. You don’t know if it’s that person that might help you tomorrow, whoever does that should be checked.
You have to decide why you are in the music industry. If you know you cannot be a role model then you have no business being there”
Wizkid had written “Broke people always think they have an opinion” to a fan on his instagram page, after erroneously typing ‘i have an hangover’ just as he was about to perform at a wedding ceremony, leading to this fan replying ‘you see why you have to go back to school
Wizkid had been immediately immersed in retaliatory tweets from angry fans as soon the instagram exchange went viral. J.Martins is the first celebrity to make his comments on the issue.
*******
But seriously, that was very rude of the fan. There are better ways to make correction. We all need to accept the fact that these celebrities are humans like us! For crying out loud they feel pain, love, despair, anger... and lots more just like we do!

Rapper Eva Alordiah & Linda Ikeji Diss Each Other on Twitter Over Child Molestation Story?

Yesterday, Sunday 04 2013, popular blogger Linda Ikeji posted a story about Nigerian rapper Eva Alordiah...

Read it below:

Eva Alodiah in a radio interview with Hotfm Abuja Breakfast show with Cheezy Charles and Tutu, confessed she’s a victim of child molestation when responding to question on why she hasn’t spoken publicly about the #ChildNotbride issue.

Eva said:

"We are such a country that is so blessed by God. We don’t have earthquake, volcanoes, tsunami. We are problems to ourselves and this is disgusting. I come from a background where I was molested as a child. Definitely it’s a serious situation where you have to put a child through that type of trauma".
***
Eva didn't waste time in replying her on twitter ... (see below)

Linda Ikeji of course, responded immediately:

Eva having seen that Linda wasn't backing down, later tweeted:

I guess she hasn't entirely let go of the past... ermmm... or was it hearsay??
Probably momentary disillusionment made her say that... or for lack of what to say at that particular juncture, during the interview.

I Have Plans For School - 2face Idibia

Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tuface Idibia in a recent interview talks about his music, kids and plans for his education.
When asked if Tuface is a player, he replied
"If I were a player, they wouldn’t have caught me like that."
And on his role as a father, Tuface who has six kids from different women said it has not been easy, as his work which entails a lot of travelling and such, he does not see his kids as often as he wants to. He also said although he had planned to have just one wife and kids, he has accepted things the way they have turned out.

When asked if he’ll have qualms about his children following his footsteps, he simply said,
he won’t discourage any of his children if they decide to follow in his footsteps musically. As a matter of fact, he’ll be a good adviser.

One good thing though is that Tuface definitely plans to go back to school to get a law degree but he is not certain when that will be.
On why it took so long to settle with his wife Annie, he said,
"I don’t really have an answer to that question, because I don’t know. I can’t explain why I don’t have an answer to that, but somehow, by the grace of God, we are still together."

Excerpts from the Interview:

So, why the nickname Tuface/2Face?

According to the artiste,, it is a way of letting his fans know that his public and private lives are two separate entities. So the Tuface they see in the public, on TV, in papers, and hear on the radio is the public figure, who is different from who he really is. We can say it’s a case of Tuface(the star) and Innocent (the man).

On fame and worth?

Tuface says fame
"takes away your privacy and freedom to do some kind of simple, basic things. Like I can’t go to Iya Christopher to sit down and eat amala, the way I dey do before".
And on financial worth/value, he says, "I never gather, but I dey try."
Tuface also attributed his journey so far to hard work, his fans and the grace of God.
