Super Eagles Star John Ogu Marries Girlfriend at Ikoyi Registry

John Ogu the Nigerian footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Israeli Premier League side Hapoel Be'er Sheva has now joined the long list of footballers who have quit bachelorhood. 

He had some time in October proposed to her on the football pitch, just after his team beat the opposing team, 5-2.

He consummated his union with his girlfriend, Vera at the Ikoyi Registry Lagos yesterday, and took to social media to let his fans know he's '#offthemarket'.

Made Men Music Group boss Ubi Franklin escorted by his friends and family today, performed the traditional marriage rites for his beautiful bride Lilian Esoro.

The ceremony held at the actress' family home in Magodo Lagos, and the reception will hold on November 1st (on Sunday), as seen in their pre-wedding photos.

As expected, the event was graced by their friends and colleagues from the Nigerian entertainment industry, amongst whom are Gbenro Ajibade, Osas Ajibade, Freda Francis, and lots of others.

Today 18th October, makes it one year since these lovelies said their vows before God and man. I am so happy for them I can confidently say it's been a year of loving, laughter and triumph.

She always has something to say about how good he's been to her. From their wonderful honeymoon, to her surprise birthday party and all the little surprises in-between, she couldn't ask for anything better!

Wife divorces her husband because he is too SHORT

A 20 year old Saudi bride has divorced her husband just after 7 months of marriage, because he is too short. The woman claimed that she could no longer take the ridicule she constantly receives for being married to a man who she towers above.

In legal documents she claimed that overshadowing her husband during their brief seven month union had made her feel 'painfully uneasy' and 'distressingly uncomfortable.'

The case was described as peculiar by the endowment department in Al Qatif in Saudi Arabia's eastern province, according to Gulf News.
