While watching a fireworks display during a celebration in my city, I became distracted. Off to the right and the left of the main event, smaller fireworks occasionally popped up in the sky. They were good, but watching them caused me to miss parts of the more spectacular display directly above me.

KCEE Surprises Couple with Free Performance on their Wedding Day

Popular Nigerian singer and Limpopo crooner recently surprised huge fans of his, by performing for free at their wedding. For the newly weds, it was a dream come true.

The couple Kelechukwu Gloria & Chiediebere Livinus couldn't contain their joy, when KCEE showed up, uninvited and performed for free at their wedding. The couple are die hard fans of KCEE and had in the past, been known to always request for his songs to be played, whenever they hung out at a spot where DJ Skilo played.

According to KCEE, his friend DJ Skilo told him the couple wished they could have him perform at their wedding, and that is why he decided to surprise them, for free. He also said it's a medium to show appreciation to his fans.

Ezinne Akudo on Saturday beat 32 other contestants to clinch the covetous crown of  Miss Nigeria held  at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Nigeria's DJ Exclusive Set to Thrill Big Brother #TheChase Housemates @ This Weekend's Party

 

Every Saturday, a party is held in the “Big Brother Africa – The Chase” house, and the housemates take out time to enjoy dress specially for it, and groove to the tunes spun by chosen African DJs.

This is done so that the housemates to be evicted on Sunday, take the opportunity to party to their fill, and not miss too much, when evicted.

EME‘s DJ Xclusive is a household name amongst popular African DJs. 

It's definitely no surprise that the superstar DJ is the man of choice for this week’s Party at the 

“Big Brother Africa – The Chase” house on Saturday, 6th July, 2013.

Of course it will be a party to remember with him dishing out tunes like Kcee's Limpopo and Davido's Gobe amongst lots of other hit singles from our great Nigerian artistes! 

I'm sure Bev and Melvin will have the time of their lives!

Errmmm, I know the heading of this post sounds like ... ??? But please hear me out first!

Anyways, the fact that I like Ice Prince is not news, at least not amongst my folks... 

In my opinion, Ice Prince ooozes humility... (yeah, I always use '#myopinion', because we all are entitled to our opinions, hence you don't have to agree with mine! But I'll state it anyway.

Ice Prince who is unarguably one of Nigeria's most humble celebs, really impressed me with his attitude at the 2013 BET awards which held in Los Angeles. 

You wonder how'z that? Or why the 'ooooooooshee'?

I'm thanking Ice Prince on behalf of Nigerians and Africa as a whole... because just after accepting the, he kept repeating 'thank you BET for placing Africa/Nigeria on the map' 

He didn't see it as 'mine'. He saw it as 'ours'... 

The most touching part was when Ice Prince asked for a few minutes to take a photo with all other nominees in the same category which he won. (see the photos below)

Believe me, I loved him more that very minute! Guess what? he was the only act that made that request, the entire night!

The nominees for the 2013 edition of the annual entertainment awards Nigeria Entertainment Awards, were announced recently at the Euphoria Night Club, Lagos.

The President of the NEA Tope Esan announced the nominees from all thirty-four categories and some of the nominees this year include Iyanya’s “Kukere” and K9’s “Kokoma” for Hottest Single of the Year, Rita Dominic, Genevieve Nnaji and Uche Jombo for Best Lead Actress, Jesse Jagz, Ice Prince and Vector for Best Rap Act and Basketmouth, Bovi and Senator for Best Comedian.
