Nick Cannon has finally confirmed in a recent interview with The Insider , that he and Mariah Carey are on the highway to getting a divorce and currently living in separate homes.
The 33-year old
America's Got Talent host admitted there is in fact trouble in paradise, but however denied allegations that his six year marriage was threatened by infidelity.
According to Dailymail, sources
close to the couple say trouble started in March
following Nick's interview, where he reflected on his short romance with
Kim back in 2006.
He
claimed he had too many ex-lovers to list them all, saying: 'Are you
kidding me? This is L.A.! That's the whole purpose of it, you have sex
with actresses, singers, models...
After shooting down rumours that cheating caused the break, the star said his three-year-old twins are his 'main focus'.
It's unbelievable that Mariah was unaware of his sexcapades before she met him... but of course she couldn't know them all! There's definitely more to this story, but we hear she has successfully hit him with a lawsuit which bars him from giving details of their impending divorce, or he would face "severe financial penalties".
Then
on the same day his interview was released, he posted a video on
Twitter where he accepted the ALS ice bucket challenge in nothing
but a towel. How insensitive! Divorces are always sad... at least one party hurts.
