President Obama to Visit Africa, White House Has Revealed


President Obama will come to Africa for a long visit of one week from June 26 to July 3, the White House revealed.
The main purpose of this visit of President Obama is to meet the leaders from government, business and civil society, including youth and also for his personal purposes.
The White House said in a statement, “The President Obama will meet with a wide array of leaders from government, business and civil society, including youth, to discuss our strategic partnerships on bilateral and global issues”.
In the statement he added, “The trip will underscore the president’s commitment to broadening and deepening cooperation between the United States and the people of sub-Saharan Africa to advance regional and global peace and prosperity”.
