PDP National Chairman - Tukur, Appoints New Aides

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur who sacked all his aides few weeks ago including his son Awal Tukur, has appointed new assistants.
Amongst the newly appointed aides are Senator Abubarkar Umaru Gada, a former governorship aspirant of the party in Sokoto state, who is to serve as the Political Adviser to the National Chairman.
Others are George Korgba from Benue State who is the new Principal Secretary while Dr. A. Y. Ahamad retains his posts as the Special Assistant, Special Duties.

In a letter addressed to the National Working Committee on Tuesday and signed by the National Director of Administration, Alhaji Gurama Bawa, Tukur requested the NWC members to give them all possible assistance and cooperation in the discharge of their responsibilities.
It is not known why the chairman decided to reduce the number of his personal aides, but an inside source confirmed that Tukur may still announce new names in due course.
