Fire broke out at the popular Ebeano Supermarket in Lekki, today. It was sad watching the building raze, with no help in sight.
An eyewitness said
"at 5:30pm, there were 2 fire trucks at the scene, but the fire raged on.
I must commend Nigerians for indeed being our brother's keeper as people were gathered at the scene, trying to put out the fire, assisting to move some items out of the premises and even carried out an SUV (with bare hands) that was parked there with the owner nowhere in sight."
As at the time of making this report, the cause of the fire is still unknown. Thankfully, we hear no lives were lost.
