A Guaranteed Path Of Success · Thursday, June 13th ·
Pastor Chris
He is in the way of life that keepeth instruction: but he that refuseth reproof erreth (Proverbs 10:17).
It’s a sad reality that many people spend
most of their lives in the wrong places, doing the wrong things. For
instance, some are in the wrong businesses, which they probably started
after losing or quitting their previous jobs due to their negligence or
unfaithfulness. For years, they struggle in these businesses, failing to
achieve anything meaningful, and wonder why. But Jesus said, "He that
is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that
is unjust in the least is unjust also in much….And if ye have not been
faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which
is your own?" (Luke 16:10,12).
I believe anyone can be a success if he wants to, and it’s important for you to be a success early in life. The Bible says, "…those that seek me early shall find me" (Proverbs 8:17). "But how early is ‘early’?" you may ask. Early means as soon as you receive instructions, because the Bible says instruction will make you wise: "Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not" (Proverbs 8:33). Many suffer because they’re ignorant (Hosea 4:6), either because they have no one to guide them, or because they stubbornly reject guidance. This makes them push and whip the wrong horse for a long time, till there’s no more strength to push.
2 Timothy 3:16 says, "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." God’s Word has been given to you to help you navigate your way and walk in the guaranteed path of success. It only depends on whether or not you’d pay attention to the Word, receive instructions, and act accordingly. You can’t live by the Word and fail.

Prayer
Dear
Father, thank you for the instructions in your Word, for they’re life
to me. Your Word is a lamp unto my feet, and light unto my path. I know
I’ll never lose my way in life, because your Word is my guiding light,
in Jesus’ Name, Amen.f u r t h e r s t u d y: Proverbs 4:13; Psalms 119:105
