Obafemi Awolowo University Student Gives Birth In Hostel Toilet And Attempts to Flush Baby!

A student of OAU has allegedly attempted to flush her baby down the drain which she gave birth to, this morning. The incident was said to have taken place in Moremi Hall Block A hostel in OAU!
One of the cleaners walked in on her and rescued the newborn, covered in poop & blood!
The cleaner was said to have heard the cry of a baby from one of the toilets, then when she drew closer, she saw blood coming out from under the door.
On opening the door, she saw the student standing over the toilet poring water, with the newborn turned upside down, inside the toilet basin.

Students of OAU are horrified at this action judging by the comments on Twitter all morning. The culprit is allegedly a 400 Level student studying Electrical Electronics. 

Like some comments on this story online, why wait 9 months to kill the baby when she could have had an abortion?
Better still, there are orphanages all over, why not just send the child to one? At least that way, the child is given an opportunity of having a better future.
 
It's apalling the length people go to cover up their mess.
But as well as she must have hidden the pregnancy, at least 1 or 2 of her friends must have known she was pregnant. What explanation did she plan to give on the whereabouts of the child?

I also wonder if she knows who the father of the baby is!

The irony of life!
While we have the likes of Khloe Kardashian amongst many other 'barren' women who wish to have their own babies, and others who pay millions of naira for 'miracle' babies, there's someone out there who carried a baby in her womb for nine good months and tried flushing him down the toilet!
May God have mercy!
