 Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha has bounced back into the spotlight with a headlining role in “On Bended Knees“, a new movie which she also produced.

Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha joined the league of producers and produced a movie titled ‘On Bended Knees’.

The movie which has a Christian theme is about a man, Pastor Reuben (Seun Akindele) who is fiercely passionate about the things of God and & committed to the church. But this doesn’t go down well with his wife Kemi (Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha) who has to remind him that he’s also a husband as well as a pastor. Temptation comes in form of a dark, handsome stranger (Chet Anekwe), who becomes attracted to her. Secrets are opened, hidden pasts are unearthed and Reuben finds himself torn between his love for his wife & his devotion to the church. Who wins this epic battle?

The project was executively produced by Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha and produced in conjunction with Emem Isong. It was Directing by Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen, with story and screenplay by Uduak Oguamanam. 

The movie stars Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Seun Akindele, Chet Anekwe, Francis Onwochie, Memry Savanhu, Sylvia Oluchi and Chukwudi Orji.
The film will premiere on the 5th of May 2013 at Silverbird Cinemas at the Ikeja Mall.
