Britain set to deport dozens of Ghanaian criminals back home

The British and Ghanaian governments have struck a deal to enable foreign criminals to be sent back to Ghana to serve out their sentence, so as to free up space in UK jails.
According to reports, there are currently 96 Ghanaians in British jails, according to figures from September. And of these, 48 are serving sentences longer than four years and would be eligible for transfer.

Ghanaian Actress Juliet Ibrahim Star With Hollywood Acts in New Movie, ‘African Time’

Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim has really stepped up her game.
She's currently starring in Kelechi Eke’s movie alongside Hollywood acts from Tyler Perry’s 'Diary of a Mad Black Woman' and 'Meet The Browns'.
The movie which is soon to be released is titled 'African time'.

The film is about 'African Time' a phrase used to describe the relaxed attitude that many Africans exhibit towards time. It seems to have become a part of African culture in that most African events tend to begin a few hours after the specified start time.
This becomes frustrating to those Africans that like to be punctual. Ironically, many Africans that are late to various social events are seldom late to work and to other engagements of interest. This fact questions whether 'African Time' is really a culture or a Choice. This story is full of humor and explores the issue of late coming among Africans and unveils some possible solutions for the infamous African Time.

Good for her!

Big Brother Africa Ghanaian Rep. Elikem Says He Has Watched Girlfriend's Sextape with her Ex & He Likes It!

Hehe! Kim and Kanye things...

Anyway, this is how Ghafla is reporting it:

This year's edition of Big Brother saw many housemates coupling up,most notably Beverly and Angelo,Feza and Oneal,Cleo and Hakeem and the winners of the 'most romantic gesture' Pokello and Elikem.
Elikem the  trendy tailor may have not bagged the 300,000 USD Grand Prize but the young Housemate managed to bag himself the sassy Pokello. Pokello dumped her ex, Desmond Chideme aka Stunner, to be with the Ghanaian.
In a press conference at the Airport West Hotel in Accra last Friday,Elikem revealed that he had seen Pokello's sex tape with her former Zimbabwean rapper boyfriend, Stunner.
Elikem said that she had hinted of the existence of the leaked two-minute sex tape recorded with Stunner  but this did not seem to bother the Ghanian much.
Elikem Kumordzi said that he thought the sex tape was nice and that "it was not much of a big deal.
It definitely doesn't happen in Naija! Not a big deal? Of course! It's a HUGE deal! lol.
In related news, Elikem is going to Zimbabwe tomorrow to meet Pokello's family and his fans in Zimbabwe.

I wish them all the best!

My advice to ladies, NEVER EVER make a sextape! It will always come back to haunt you, when you least expect!

BBA8 Contestant Pokello #QueenOfSwag Set to Host Boyfriend Elikem de Tailor In Zimbabwe {Photos}

Hmmmmm. lovu wantin tin... me and my chikala na wan tin tin
This fabulous couple aint going off the radar anytime soon!

The Queen of Swag herself, @pokellosexy who broke up with her former boyfriend on Live tv (because of love for Elikem), is set to host Ghana's BBA8 representative and boyfriend, in Zimbabwe come Friday September 6th, 2013!

She excitedly took to twitter to confirm the gist and share posters some minutes ago.

The most controversial relationships formed in the BBA house are actually thriving outside the house!
Hers and Bev's were the most talked about and the most break-up-prone relationships because of their controversial lifestyles.
Surprisingly, these relationships are doing well.
So so happy for them.
In D'Banj's voice, Don't get it twisted, love is a beautiful thing!

See other photos of Pokello and Elikem since leaving the BBA house:

How Ghanaian TV Presenter Joselyn Dumas Fell On Stage Wearing Denrele’s High Boots (PHOTOS)

Ghanaian TV presenter, Joselyn Dumas had quite a huge fall on stage when she wore Denrele's very high boots during the Channel O's O News Live at the Silver Star Towers, Accra.
Denrele had Joselyn as a guest on his couch and had earlier on, thrown a 'truth or dare' at the presenter.
Joselyn unfortunately chose to dare Denrele, which resulted in Denrele asking her to take off her Christian Louboutin shoes, and wear his boots.
She took the dare a bit forward when she tried to dance in the boots, causing her to tumble all the way to the floor...

hehehe
It's Denrele's!
It's either him in them or no one else!
Other celebs aspiring to dare him, think again!

See more tumbling pics after the cut...

A Must Watch: Yvonne Nelson on The Juice; Speaks On Relationship With Iyanya and Lots More

Hmmmmmmmmmm.
Yvonne Nelson! I Like your everything!!
In this video, beautiful Ghanaian actress Yvonne talks on her acting career, movies she produced, and of course, relationships with Nigerian musicians, especially Iyanya.
Watch below:

I could tell she was really really into Iyanya! Jeez, she was really blunt about everything!
She just said it like it was.
Although there might have been some other stuff she left out, I believe all she said! Of course, she can't wash 'all' dirty laundry in public!

I also totally agree with what she said on letting everyone know who you are dating, as a celebrity.
Seriously!
For example, if you watched the 2013 BET Awards, you could see the likes of Miguel, Dwayne Wade, and others, express love for those they in a relationship with, when they were called on to receive their awards.
You don't hide love! You flaunt it! If it's to be hidden, it isn't love!

Celebrities who don't go public with their relationship, have skeletons in their cupboard! Simple!

She talked about his birthday and how that when she arrived, she saw that there were other 'gals' too, some even from other countries.  Gals as in girlfriends, not 'friends'. Yeah... I believed that too cos I watched the video of his birthday and I saw the expression on his face when Yvonne arrived!

I'm really not one to judge though, so I wouldn't say Iyanya f****d up, or Yvonne did...
but one thing I know for sure is relationships don't always go according to plan.
Sometimes, it just doesn't work, no matter how hard you try!
Of course, we shouldn't force it! Just let it go already!

PS: Yvonne Nelson and John Dumelo should just 'hook-up' already! They look so beautiful together #myopinion

Yvonne Nelson's Movie 'House of Gold', Premieres in Nigeria, 19th July - Press Release

Press Release:

Barely few months after release in Ghanaian cinemas, the Yvonne Nelson and Media GH production seems to be fast breaking a record set by their last movie Single & Married. With overwhelming review by industry professionals and African movie fans, the star studded movie has since its grand premiere in Accra and widespread screening across Ghana stayed in the minds of many as the best comedy film produced from Ghana in 2013.

The movie scores great applause in all relevant areas ranging from best picture, amazing continuity, classic directing, resonate sound track, gorgeous costume, clean make up, and outstanding lead role acting by Majid Michel & Yvonne Nelson. One very great revelation to the African movie scene is the introduction of Ghana’s highly talented new face Umar Krupp who played well a controversial role that most actors wouldn’t dare. Umar is poised to soon dominate our screens with his seemingly amazing talent.

One cannot talk of a great movie such as House of Gold without appreciating the sharp transformation of two of Africa’s most celebrated musicians Iceprince Zamani & Omawumi Megbele who proved their overwhelming dynamism by starring in the movie.

Talk of a refreshing way of cracking your ribs and it surely has to be with House of Gold, the family’s preferred choice of nonstop comic action on screen.

Slated to begin screening in Nigerian cinemas from July 19th 2013, Executive Producers Media GH are poised to further offer many African movie fans the viewing pleasure of the resounding hit movie in partnership with its distributors across the continent and proceed to annex many coveted awards.

Ghanaian Actress Juliet Ibrahim Under Fire for Attacking OJB on Social Media

Hahahahahaha Hohohohohoho Hehehehehehe
Wonder why I'm laughing? Continue to see for yourself!
I trust my Naija people!
So Ghanaian actress Juliet Ibrahim took to Instagram yesterday to post something she wrote on OJB Jezreel's present health condition.

Honestly,  after reading the write-up, my first reaction was anger.
Read below:

The Ghanaian actress posted the message you see above on instagram and ever since people have not stopped raining all manner of insults on her (not that I blame them)...

See some hilarious responses below:

Okay, let me reply her write-up line for line.

Juliet Ibrahim, really, first of all, Who asked you to speak on this OJB topic?  Who are the ignorant people you are referring to? Bloggers? Your fans? OJB's fans? Music lovers? Or the Entire public?
Mind you, only ignorant 'celebs' make such statements and if you were not so ignorant, you would have understood, after not less than 5 years in the Nigerian entertainment industry, that celebs don't say such things... go and check the facebook walls/ twitter timelines of our very own nollywood celebs, and see if you'll find anything like this your so called  write-up to address OJB's predicament. U should LEARN! Do you think a lot of 'celebs' don't feel the same way you do? Trust me, they do! But they don't talk about it! Rather they donate or keep their mouths shut!
I agree that every celeb has his/her own family responsibilities, but did you say you donate any way you can? Which one is any way? The media is here to donate by broadcasting the ill news and keeping every one informed! You (celebs) on the other hand and well-meaning Nigerians are expected to donate cash, (of course if you want to)! And who told you other people are not helping out? They are!
You should know that the media will always write 'Psquare did this... Don Jazzy did that...' because they are celebs! If a wealthy uncle of OJB or an old friend donates, we (the media) would not blog/report it because they are not celebs! We even might not get wind of it because they will not go snapping pictures like y'all do!
I'm sure not all those tagging you in tweets are aware you run a kidney foundation! But what if they are? What if you do?? Who cares about the exact cost of the kidney transplant?
It is common knowledge that the exact amount for the transplant isn't what should be gotten, as other miscellaneous expenses might be incurred!

Finally, what is the exact purpose of this write-up? To make people aware you run a kidney foundation? To get more people to vote you/your foundation @ the City People Awards? Or just cheap publicity? Are you indirectly calling the #SaveOJB campaign a fraud?

Hmmmm, no beef oh, my dear people, I know the beautiful Juliet Ibrahim just the way you guys know her as a Ghanaian actress... But this is my view on this...

Photos: Style Icon of the day: Ghana's Yvonne Nelson

Yvonne Nelson is unarguably one of Africa's best dressed celebrities! Seriously!!!

She never ceases to amaze me! Whatever she wears is always on point, from corporate wears, to dresses, shorts, bikinis... casuals and all that!

Also worthy of note is her make-up... The make-up we see on some celebs are so so scary... All in the name of being seen...

She doesn't try so hard  to strike a pose or any of the sort... and like I said, she looks good in everything!

The most amazing thing about this beautiful actress, is her effortless poise! Did you notice one constant thing these photos? Her smile! That's all she needs...

Yvonne Nelson has been able to show style isn't always about colours, neither a display of wealth, but an expression of imagination!!!
Believe me there are lots more of her pics, but not to bore you with them, I stopped here!
What do you think? Style Icon, Yes/No??
