The Lagos State Police Command says it has commenced moves to identify the police woman caught in a video footage demanding a bribe of N100 from a commercial bus driver.
In the video which we posted on this blog some days ago. See it HERE incase you missed it earlier, the yet-to-be identified policewoman was heard insisting on collecting the N100 bribe from a driver who she apprehended for violating a traffic offence.
However, the driver’s appeal to her that he should be allowed to proceed on his journey fell on deaf ears as she insisted on collecting the bribe. And the video had since gone viral on social networking sites
The policewoman was heard saying, “E no concern me. Pay me my own money.”
The driver, who having realised the insistence of the policewoman, to collect the bribe, directed his bus conductor to give her the money.
Nigerians are watching and waiting for the result of the Police Investigation...
